The UNESCO Regional Office in Bangkok invites nominations for SDG4 Navigators by 30 September 2024.
To strengthen advocacy and communications, priority areas of work listed below will be supported by SDG4 Navigators—diverse and inspiring leaders from the Asia-Pacific region—in collaboration with the Director of the UNESCO Regional Office in Bangkok, and guide others in line with the vision of Education 2030 and the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
As the lead agency for SDG4 regional coordination, UNESCO Bangkok will advance a learning agenda to inform and drive transformative change together with National Commissions for UNESCO, UN partners, and other stakeholders throughout Asia and the Pacific.
Sample areas of action to achieve SDG4 include:
- Commitments to Inclusion and Equity
- Focus on Quality & Relevant Education
- Learning Recovery Strategies
- Digital Transformation
- Teacher Development and Support
- Monitoring and Evaluation
- Financing for Education
- Regional Cooperation and Partnerships
